FIA GT3 Jarama

The Spanish GT race weekend in Jarama two weeks ago turned out to be a good practice session for the FIA GT3 race weekend on that track. Markus’ team-mate Petri Lappalainen finished the 1st qualifying on 11th position and Markus set the car on the 10th position for the 2nd race. At the start of the 1st race Petri lost some positions but he gave the wheel to Markus on 10th. Markus finished the race on 5th after a great fight with the Ford GT of Christopher Nygaard at the end. For the 2nd race it was Markus turn to do the start. He won some positions at the start. After a quick drivers change Petri was on 4th when he came back on track. At the end Petri crossed the finish line on 6th position. After the weekend in Jarama Markus and Petri are leading in the Porsche Manufacturer’s Cup with 106 points for the other ProSpeed drivers Marco Holzer and Paul van Splunteren (92 points). The next race weekend for Markus will be in France on the track Paul Ricard (FIA GT1 + GT3).
