We added two videos. One is from the FIA GT3 race in Zolder 2009 and the other one from the 24 Hours of Spa 2009. You find the videos in our video section (Reports/Press -> Videos -> FIA GT/LMS).[more]
Markus will start the season 2010 with the 24 Hours of Daytona. He is racing in a Porsche 997 for Matt Connolly Motorsports (MCM) together with Jos Menten, Oskar Slingerland and Christophe Lapierre. Markus and Jos were successful teammates several times before in the LMS, FIA GT and BGTC. Oskar is also not unknown for him. They raced together at the 24 Hours of Spa this year where they finished 3rd in class. In the 6 Hours of Estoril 09 they could win in class GTV3 . Markus' first 24 Hours of Daytona will start at January 30th at 15:30 local time.[more]
Markus and Oskar won their class and took 3rd overall in the 6-hour final of the French Endurance Championship in Estoril. The entire race was ran in wet conditions and at times the track was flooding so heavily that the Safety Car was deployed just to avoid serious accidents. Porsche is traditionally competitive in difficult conditions and it was proved again in Estoril with an all-Porsche Podium. Fastest of the GTV3 class was the Speedlover Porsche 997 GT3 Cup of Oskar and Markus gaining the upper hand of many of faster cars letting only a pair of bigger GT2 and GT3 cars finish ahead of them. Markus' fastest race lap was 3rd fastest overall getting barely beaten only by a GT2 spec Ferrari and GT3 Mosler and his time was a full 2 seconds quicker than anyone else in the same class, even though there were some serious competition from well-known drivers and teams.
